This 12V Cigarette Lighter Socket was originally intended for the dashboard. On reflection, I thought a better use for it would be to provide a useful 12V socket at the rear of the vehicle, for example for plugging in a 12V tyre pump. As it turned out, it was never fitted, and I doubt very much that I'll ever use it.
